Since July 2021, a special piece has been part of our Acapulco Chair Family. The “Oaxaca” model is certainly the most colorful and eclectic lounger of all our Acapulco chairs. Like the chair, Oaxaca is the most diverse and colorful state in Mexico. The state is an enchanting mix of world-class beaches, beautiful scenery, wonderful cities and delicious cuisine. The jewel in its crown is the state capital of Oaxaca City, which is just as colorful and sets cultural highlights.
FROM ACAPULCO TO OAXACA
A constant task and major challenge for Acapulco Design is the constant further development of its Acapulco Chair models, as well as the design of new pieces of furniture. At its core and origins, it is always about the lounger made in Acapulco in the 1950s. Acapulco is no longer as glamorous as it was in the 1950s and 1960s, but the México Chair is still. One of the reasons for this is that Acapulco Design is continuously developing the original variant and producing new variants every year. Already in 2015 we brought the Acapulco Chair from outside into living rooms and hotels with the "Leather" model. This is just one of many examples of how the design classic is constantly being reborn. This summer we needed the chair from Acapulco to Oaxaca.
